Brian M. Ngo

Brian M. Ngo is a partner at Great Oaks Lawyers, where his practice centers on probate and trust administration, estate planning, and real estate law. He regularly represents clients in probate proceedings — including estates, conservatorships, and guardianships — and counsels individuals and families on structuring estate plans that protect assets and simplify the path forward for the people they care about. A recurring focus of his practice is the intersection of probate, trust, and real estate law, where title disputes, property transfers, and ownership complications often arise together and demand coordinated solutions.

Brian approaches his work with a practical, client-centered mindset. In probate and conservatorship matters, he helps families navigate unfamiliar court procedures while keeping their obligations and options clearly in view. In estate planning, he works to ensure that the documents clients sign today actually hold up and function as intended — not just on paper, but in the hands of the people who will one day carry them out.

Before founding the firm, Brian practiced in civil litigation and transactional matters, experience that continues to shape how he approaches problems — with an eye toward efficiency and an understanding of how disputes develop when planning falls short.

Brian earned his J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 2008 and his undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Washington in 2004. He has been admitted to practice in California since 2009.

Outside the office, Brian is an avid reader with a deep interest in history. When he’s not reading, he can usually be found lifting, cycling, running, or somewhere in the backcountry with a pack on his back.
