Lincoln Tran heads the firm’s Litigation Section, handling a broad range of legal matters including trial, commercial civil litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, and other tort litigation. As a former defense attorney, Mr. Tran has handled numerous matters at all stages of litigation and has conducted trials for both sides of the bar — resulting in jury verdicts for the defense and for plaintiffs.
Mr. Tran now brings his experience with insurance defense to advocate for individuals who have suffered an injury due to a negligent third party. Having spent years representing insurance companies and corporations, he understands how the defense evaluates claims, prepares for trial, and approaches settlement — and he uses that knowledge to build stronger cases for the people he represents.
Mr. Tran completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara, earning double major degrees in Law & Society and Communication Studies. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings), and has worked in the legal profession for over 20 years.
Prior to becoming a licensed attorney, Mr. Tran served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Peter J. Busch of the Superior Court of San Francisco, Law & Motion Division. He also served as Academic Chair of the Asian Pacific American Law Students’ Association at UC Hastings and was involved with the Legal Aid Society’s Workers’ Rights Clinic, providing legal advice to low-income, working individuals.
Mr. Tran has a diverse legal background and has previously worked for several well-respected law firms in the Bay Area. He has provided counsel for numerous insurance companies, national retail corporations, small business owners, and individuals from all walks of life. He is a member of the State Bar and admitted to practice in all courts in the State of California.
